Q. Can I take photos inside and outside the house?

A. Unfortunately we do not allow photos to be taken inside the house but feel free to snap away at the exterior from the gardens.

Q. Do you allow children on the tour?

A. Children under the age of 12 are restricted from entering the house. People of all ages are welcome to enjoy the garden and grounds.

Q. Can I take my bag inside the house?

A. Unfortunately we do not allow bags of any description inside the house. Please leave these in your vehicles when you arrive, they will be safe.

Q. Do you have wheelchair access to the house?

A. Unfortunately we do not have wheelchair access to any part of the house, however you can enjoy the exterior from the homestead garden.

Q. I physically struggle when climbing stairs, will I still be able to do the tour?

A. You will still be able to view the bottom story with the tour group however there are some challenging staircases in the building which could be a challenge. Tour guides retain the right to turn people away from the second and third levels if they deem you could be at risk of health and safety to yourself or the tour party.

Q. A nationwide emergency has occurred. Is my tour still going ahead?

A. In the case of an emergency or something that has caused the tour to become not achievable out of our control, we reserve the right to cancel or postpone the tour.

Q. Do I receive a refund if my tour is cancelled?

A. Yes, full refund will be provided if we are to cancel the tour.

Q. I would like to cancel my tour, will I get a refund?

A. You can cancel your tour anytime up until one week before the tour with a full refund. If you cancel within one week of the tour, no refunds will be applied. Alternatively, you can postpone your tour to a later date up to 24hrs before the tour date.

Q. We are in levels 1 & 2 of a nationwide pandemic, is my tour still going ahead?

A. In levels 1 & 2 we are fully operational while sticking to the guidelines set out by the government. In levels 3 & 4, unfortunately all tours will be cancelled.
